A few quick notes today:
1) Got something from DiscMakers in the mail today... it was the hard copy of that ProTools guide I had downloaded a few weeks back. To my great surprise, not only was that included in their big envelope of musical happiness, but there was also a pamphlet filled with awesome recording tips and techniques, and some other stuff in there as well!
2) Picked up the soundtrack for Dave Grohl's Sound City documentary while the Mrs. and I were out the other day. Haven't cranked it up yet, but I have a feeling that tomorrow on the way to work will be the perfect time for that.
3) Ray Manzarek, keyboard player (and founder) of The Doors, has passed away at the age of 74. Cranked up "Light My Fire" in his honor tonight.
