Tonight was a "Red House" kind of night.
I got in more work on the song tonight than I have in the last few days, and it was a good feeling. Having let myself get caught up in all of the small things that I don't have down perfectly (yet) for the last week, tonight I gave myself permission to push ahead and try to get a handle on what the transitions are supposed to feel like. I'm still not where I would like to be, but I am definitely going in the right direction. It was a good night of playing for sure.
