I laid off of "Red House" tonight, although somewhat unintentionally. When I got home from work, I had intended to put in a good amount of time with it tonight, but that wasn't exactly what happened.
Instead of focusing on that, I ended up working my way through a lot of the rest of my iTunes library, just making sure that everything that should be there actually was. I'm up to Tool, so I'm obviously not all the way through, but I'm a whole lot closer than I was when I started out the evening.
As an added bonus, getting all the way through that (hopefully tomorrow) will make finishing off the song list all that much easier, considering I'll just be able to work my way through it, instead of having to switch back and forth between importing files and updating the list. Of course, the real final step on that whole thing will be comparing the iTunes library from the old computer to the one from the new computer, if only to make sure that all of my purchased tracks make the switch as well.
So, while it wasn't a day filled with a lot of playing, it was still a day that felt like progress on some of my goals for the summer, and that is always a good thing.
