Relaxing day today. Not too much to report, really. I spent some of my afternoon playing acoustic, and another bit of the day sorting through all of the materials I thought were "essential" when I started this whole process back in July. Most of what was important then remains important now, but there were a few things that came out.
I'm still struggling to get my "music room" organized the way I want it. Granted, when it's half of your living room as opposed to its own space with its own door, it can be a little tough, but still, I feel like everything I need ought to be in close proximity to where I'm practicing, and as of yet that hasn't happened. I need to be better about setting up a practice regimen this year. While I've made substantial gains from where I was when I started, there is still a long way to go. Having a fellow musician around (as I mentioned yesterday) was amazing, and also very motivational, as it helped to highlight the areas that still need work.
I also started poking around for another music book to start in on. While the Zep one took a lot out of me, I've been antsy for the last few days not having a book in my hands.
