Slow start to month #2. No complaints there, though. I just got done with a six day stretch at work, and have the next two days off! Much playing will ensue.
Worked on some more acoustic stuff tonight. "Superman's Song" by Crash Test Dummies. It's a fairly simple progression, with a few interesting changes thrown in for good measure. It provided a slight challenge in terms of what key to play it in, but nothing I couldn't overcome with a capo. The vocals were fun on it though, as Brad Roberts sings in such a deep register. It almost hurts to try and emulate that tone.
"Superman never made any money saving the world from Solomon Grundy/And sometimes I despair the world will never see another man like him."
