So, I know full well that I would be wise to save this post for a day like Thursday or Friday, when I'll be finishing up packing and then moving furniture up north, but I just can't resist writing about it tonight, so here goes:
In one of the few down moments at work today, I looked up, out of curiosity, all of the major music releases between (essentially) tomorrow and October 9th, here's the list of stuff I either need, or need to check out before I pick it up:
Havoc & Bright Lights - Alanis Morissette (8/28)
Night Visions - Imagine Dragons (9/4)
North - Matchbox Twenty (9/4)
The Vaccines Come Of Age - The Vaccines (9/4)
Tempest - Bob Dylan (9/11)
Away From The World - Dave Matthews Band (9/11)
Charmer - Aimee Mann (9/18)
The Sound Of The Life Of The Mind Out - Ben Folds Five (9/18)
Uno - Green Day (9/25)
Babel - Mumford & Sons (9/25)
Push & Shove - No Doubt (9/25)
Glad All Over - The Wallflowers (10/2)
Halcyon - Ellie Goulding (10/9)
That's 13 records between now and the 9th of October. And to think I've spent all summer wondering where the big releases are... turns out they're all happening in Fall this year.
So, so many things I can comment on in this list, but I can't keep my eyes open much longer. Sleep tonight, more tomorrow.
Oh! Got 99% of my music packed tonight for the move. 10 boxes of CDs.
