It was time to purge some of the in-store plays at work today. I walked away with 3 of them. Here's the rundown:
1) Legendary Demos - Carole King
2) Be The Void - Dr. Dog
3) Air: The Bach Album - Anne Akiko Meyers
I was curious about the Bach record because of an article I saw on NPR some months back. In fact, I think I might have made mention of it in this very space. Here's the link on that one, just in case you were curious:

The coolest part of that record is that she plays both violin parts on Bach's Concerto for two Violins, strings and continuo in D minor. Apparently, her two violins sound different enough that she could pull it off. I haven't actually listened to the record yet, but I'll definitely comment on the differences when I get around to it.
I played for a little bit today before work, but again, not long enough for my taste. Still looking for that first monster session of the 3rd year.
