So, 2016 was a mixed bag for me. The first couple of months had some good progress in them, but everything from March to almost November felt like lost time. That said, here are some of my goals for 2017. If you followed last year, you may recognize some similarities.
(In no particular order)
1. Play More Acoustic
2. Finish a Recording Project
3. Learn "A History of Rock & Roll in 100 Riffs"
4. Improve Fretboard Knowledge
5. Write More Songs
6. Read More Music Books
7. Beatles Study
8. Focus on Soloing/Lead Guitar
So, I'm not sure if that's a lot or not as I head into 2017, but it seems like a decent list. If I can find a way to get to all of this in the new year, it will shape up to be a good one indeed.
