I started the new Soundgarden disc in the car on the way to (and from) work today. It, moreso than the Green Day, will require a closer listen at some point with the headphones, but still. At least I started, right?
After dinner, I sat down to finally watch the episode of Austin City Limits with Mumford & Sons. It was astoundingly spectacular. They put so much energy into their live performances, even their slower paced songs are a foot-stomping good time.
Sadly, not much playing tonight. Looks like tomorrow will have to be an awesome sprint to the Zeppelin finish line. Even so, I'm feeling better the last few nights, if only because I've gotten more of a chance to play in the last 72 hours than it feels like I had in the whole week prior to that.
I can't believe it's Friday tomorrow. The week has gone by so quickly, and I've been pondering my Friday post since about Tuesday night. Should be interesting to see what direction said post ends up taking in the end.
Today was a stressful day at work that probably should have had more music in it, but all I can do is vow to do better tomorrow.
